| This session will present a variety of exciting free and/or open source software and on-line activities that have proved very effective and engaging when used to meet the needs of students with special needs. Discover how to use the popular open source course management system, Moodle, to present your courses in an accessible and useful way. Examples will be demonstrated in creative and freely available software programs like Google Sketchup, Google Earth, Artage 2, and Tuxpaint. The strategies presented will cover a range of on-line activities and successful assignments. Handouts will include various assignment ideas, interesting Web sites, and on-line activities to use with your students. |
